We just finished up photographing a billboard campaign live in Times Square for Schofferhofer Grapefruit. It was quite a shoot, over the course of fifteen hours across three nights we photographed over 700 people. To be honest it was a production high wire act, and I’m happy to report it went off without a hitch.
More Portraits For Rosie's Place:
For those in the Boston area, Rosie's Place is an institution. And, if you follow along with my blog, you'll know that we have been doing an ongoing pro-bono project to help them with their marketing and outreach programs. Yesterday we shot this series of portraits of some of the women who receive services from the the South End women-only shelter.
Here are some new photos from a recent project with a new client, Mount Holyoke College. We shot over the commencement weekend at the South Hadley campus. The campus, by the way, is beautiful. The school was founded in 1837, and was the first of the Seven Sisters - a loose affiliation of seven women's colleges in the northeast. And it looks like it - brick buildings and old trees everywhere.
This is just a small selection of the photography we produced over the weekend.
Marty Walsh became the first new mayor that Boston has had since the early nineties when he took over for the late Thomas Menino. It was a pleasure to photograph him last week, and I wanted to show one of the portraits from the shoot.
LAW FIRM PHOTOGRAPHY:
For more than half a decade I’ve been producing photography for Goodwin Procter LLP. With more than 850 attorneys all over the world, Goodwin has kept me busy refreshing their visual content. We have shot for the them in here in Boston, in New York, Washington and Silicon Valley. They are honestly one of my favorite clients, and the work continues to be interesting and rewarding. The photos I am sharing today come from their Boston office.
This weekend we shot the 178th commencement ceremony at Mount Holyoke College - there will be more images to show and share, but here's a quick look at their updated website, live with new images less than twelve hours after the ceremony. That's impressive.
Corporate Photography in Boston:
Here are a few samples from a recent shoot at Fort Point Capital, a private equity firm here in Boston. They specialize in helping promising companies reach their full potential. They were a great group to work with, and I'm happy with how their portraits came out.
It was also great to work with Grove Marketing, based locally in Concord, MA. If your business is looking for branding or advertising help, you should check out their website.

Here's a quick look at yesterday's joint photography and video shoot. Above is the portrait shot with the Hasselblad, lit by a set of two Kino Flo lights. And below is a behind the scenes shot of the video portion of the shoot.
Rosie's Place Portraits:
In 1974 Kip Tiernan founded the nation's first shelter for women. Since then, Rosie's place has been serving poor and homeless women in Boston with dignity and respect. It is a place a woman can go to safely get a meal and get back on her feet.
